What dates will the Bride & Groom be there?
Our week at the resort will be from Wednesday, February 19 to Tuesday, February 25, 2025. This is your vacation so please feel free to book the days that work best for you! Scheduled wedding events will include the “Welcome Party” on the evening of Friday, 21 February and the actual wedding on Saturday, February 22 (both annotated when you RSVP).
Will there be transportation to and from the airport?
Yes, a hotel airport shuttle is included and comes around every hour. Once you book your room and flights, please reach out to whomever you booked with (travel agent or Fiesta Americana) to coordinate your arrival and departure. In addition, you can reserve a private car for an additional cost through the hotel or travel agent, we recommend USA tranfers. Taxis are always available at the airport if you miss your transportion, however, please use the services inside of the airport before leaving the terminal. External car companies will approach you after leaving the terminal but you can ensure a secure means of travel if you coordinate your vehicle before stepping outside of the airport.
Will there be a dress code?
Dress code is Beach Formal for the day of the wedding. Comfortable footwear is recommended as the reception will take place under a private gazebo near the beach. We recommend something you can slip on/off because the ceremony will be in the sand. If you will be attending our Bienvenida (Welcome) Party which will include canapés & beverages, it will take place in one of the resort’s indoor restaurants and we ask that you please wear something white ♡
Is there a dress code at the restaurants for dinner?
Yes. The majority of the restaurants require dress shorts and dress sandals. This means no sleeveless shirts for men, no flip-flops, and no sportswear or swimsuits. Long pants with dress shoes and shirt with collar or polo is required for men if you wish to dine at the Rosato restaurant. Are my children invited?
Children of the family of the bride & groom will be included in the ceremony & reception. The hotel is family-friendly and we would like for our special day to feel like a vacation for our guests, however, additional children will unfortunately not be allowed to attend wedding events. The Fiesta Kids Club is open from 9:30am-7:00pm for children ages 4-12 and after-hours babysitting services are available at an additional cost.
Will there be an open-bar?
Yes! This is an all-inclusive hotel and wedding.
First time at an all-inclusive, what is not included?
After booking your room and airfare, everything is included for you to have a wonderful stay. This means food, drinks and ammentities (pool, beach, gym, shows/entertainment, room service, minibar). Items that may come at an additional but totally optional cost are things like bottles of wine, special lobster or surf & turf dinners (though there are plenty of menu options in each restaurant so it is not necessary), excursions, and spa treatments.
When can I RSVP?
As soon as possible! The sooner you book the easier it will be for our wedding planning. We ask that you please RSVP by August 22, 2024 (6 months out) and let either the travel agent or Dan/Paulina (if booking on your own) know the dates you are booked for. What activities are there to do in Cancun?
Apart from the all day activities at the hotel such as pool games, contests, fitness activities, live music and nightly shows, Cancun has a lot to offer! You can coordinate with the travel agents at the hotel to book excursions such as snorkeling the coral reefs, exploring cenotes or visiting the Mayan Ruins and Chichén Itzá. Off-the-hotel activities include golfing at the beautiful Cancun Golf Club at Pok Ta Pok, taking a 13 minute drive to the Hotel Zone to dance at the numerous night clubs such as Coco Bongo, or shopping at the shopping centers across from the hotel.
